My friends and I have been having some fun lately with Wordsmith.Org's "Internet Anagram Server". Here is a list based on my name that seemed feasible for text-based use. Some are funnier than others, some are downright weird, and some...well, are just plain gross. Actually, I'm just trying to game search engines :)

  1. Stagehand Rep
  2. Grandpa Sheet
  3. Pageant Herds
  4. Angered Staph
  5. Grenade Paths
  6. Handset Pager
  7. Dang Preheats
  8. Pagan Herd Set
  9. The Asp Danger
  10. Rant She Gaped

You get the picture...but add the middle name and you get variations on these, most of which would make great band names or news headlines. I've added some punctuation;)

  1. A Charred Herpes Spit Thong
  2. Thee Handcar Stripper Hogs
  3. Stripper Has Reached Thong
  4. Ho Stripper Changed Haters
  5. Stripper Changed Earth Hos
  6. He Hatched Stripper Organs
  7. The Anchored Stripper Gash
  8. Hag Stripper Snatched Hero
  9. Stripper/Dancer Hog Sheath
  10. Stripper Reaches, Had Thong

Ok, so let us pick a specific word, and see what that returns:

  1. Hothead Snatcher Grippers
  2. Snatches Head Proper Right
  3. High Rated Proper Snatches
  4. Eight Proper Hard Snatches
  5. Pagan Hipsters Three Chord
  6. Strippers Each Heard Thong
  7. Penis Hardhat Chest Groper
  8. Thin Chapped Gashes Terror
  9. and so on, and so on, etc. etc. etc.!

"The goal of parenting...is to raise an independent human being."

I couldn't help but agree with most of the points of this article - Psychology Today: A Nation of Wimps. Do you kids a favor and lighten up a bit. Let them scrape a knee, or study basket weaving. With adults cracking under the social and financial pressure that American society breeds, is it any wonder that children are falling prey to the same?

"What's more, cell phones—along with the instant availability of cash and almost any consumer good your heart desires—promote fragility by weakening self-regulation. "You get used to things happening right away," says Carducci. You not only want the pizza now, you generalize that expectation to other domains, like friendship and intimate relationships. You become frustrated and impatient easily. You become unwilling to work out problems. And so relationships fail—perhaps the single most powerful experience leading to depression."

Presidential Polyps on Dilbert.com, "You can play along at home. Leave a comment with your own best joke about the president’s semi-colon.".

Ever wonder how guitars string are made? I know I was.

An estimated 26,806 Americans wounded or killed (as of 7.23.2007) , and other estimated 70,000+ Iraqi dead, and oil services company, Halliburton posts double profits.

From the corner of "Go For It!" - "And thus the Lord Jesus said, 'BRAAAAIIIIIINNNS".

"Science has been canceled because your parents prefer to believe in magic.".

"In a strongly worded document drawn up in response to the plan that will affect the 4 million-plus Britons who travel to the US every year, the EU parliament said it 'notes with concern that sensitive data ( personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, and data concerning the health or sex life of individuals) will be made available to the DHS and that these data may be used by the DHS in exceptional cases'."

"Orthodox Paradox" by Noah Feldman, is defined as discrimination.

What the photos on MySpace.com really say.

I've always be fascinated with photography, especially with regards to its ability to capture moments in time that the naked eye easily forgets. Incredibly artistic, this series of photographs capture wine glasses in various phases of spilling or being broken, and it wildly named "Splut".

Today being Friday the 13th once again, I'm taking a look at some of the negative press making its way around the "InterWeb". Sorry, but I'm feeling rather cynical today, so some of these links may be NSFW, but I don't really care. The links are either making me smile, or causing some other sort of reaction, which I can't put a finger on. Also, check out my post from a previous "Friday the 13th".

'“THNX 4 THE AD!!!” has grown hollow and meaningless. Also, nobody wants to hear your stupid band.'

"There's no such compelling reason to buy Vista, said Gownder, the Forrester analyst."

Yahoo enters the "Gorno" arena with this amazingly timed picture from a traditional bull run at the "The San Fermin festival", in Pamplona, Spain.

Daily Kos has a very revealing link to a photo that the "GOP wants to hide". The gist: the NAACP invited 9 republican presidential candidates to speaking forum. Only one actually showed. Cough**Katrina**Cough! From Jeffery Feldman's "FrameShop".

Fender® and the Fender Custom Shop is deeply saddened by the loss of longtime Senior Master Builder John English. John died June 28 at the age of 57. John was considered by some folks "in the know" to be one of the best master builders that the Fender Custom Shop ever employed, and his guitars fetch top dollar amongst guitar collectors and dealers. Personally, I don't own one, but I've played a few, and I'm still entertaining the "GASsy" idea of getting one of the "Stealth" Esquires, and the neck and middle pickups on this model are hidden beneath the pick guard. I'll leave you to do your own Internet search to find the "guitar p0rn" of John's creations.

This is an eye opening article from a former "extremist", Hassan Butt.

"What radicals and extremists do is to take these premises two steps further. Their first step has been to reason that since there is no Islamic state in existence, the whole world must be Dar ul-Kufr. Step two: since Islam must declare war on unbelief, they have declared war upon the whole world. Many of my former peers, myself included, were taught by Pakistani and British radical preachers that this reclassification of the globe as a Land of War (Dar ul-Harb) allows any Muslim to destroy the sanctity of the five rights that every human is granted under Islam: life, wealth, land, mind and belief. In Dar ul-Harb, anything goes, including the treachery and cowardice of attacking civilians."
