If anyone you know if using Methamphetamines, please try to get them some help. The Montana Meth Project has a series of television advertisements that do a great job of showing what happens to people who end up traveling down the dark, lonesome path of Methamphetamine addiction, and you can view all of the ads at this page. The scenes depicted are eerily accurate and a few are downright gory, and they are obviously based on real world stories of Methamphetamine addiction, so consider yourself warned. Reality is sometimes scarier than any horror movie.
"Meth is derived from amphetamine, and is commonly made using the base chemicals ephedrine or pseudoephedrine found in over-the-counter medicines. Other common household products can be added to make Meth, including: acetone, iodine, anhydrous ammonia (fertilizer), hydrochloric acid (pool supply), lithium (batteries), red phosphorus (matches or road flares), sodium hydroxide (lye), sulfuric acid (drain cleaner), and toluene (brake fluid)."
Doesn't sound exactly appetizing, does it?
